Today we head to Wincanton with two runners, Loud And Proud and Pyffo.
First up is Loud And Proud in the Mares Maiden Hurdle at 2.15pm, for The Beyond Redemption Syndicate. She is a new mare to us who was knocking on the door in Irish point to points last season without being good enough to win one. She seems like a lovely straightforward mare. I’d be surprised if she was good enough to beat the Tizzard horse here but she jumps nicely and I think she’ll run a nice race. I think she’ll be up to winning a mares novice hurdle at some stage this season.
Next up is Pyffo in the Handicap Hurdle at 2.50pm, who is a new horse to me. He doesn’t look obviously well handicapped but he seems like a nice horse at home who goes well. I think this is a decent little race but he’s fit enough to do himself justice and we will learn plenty about him today.
