Today we head to Wincanton to run Brentford Hope who is a new horse to me, so first of all I’d like to wish his new owners The Optimists Syndicate the very best of luck.
He was obviously a very talented flat horse and has had a good level of form over hurdles so far, finishing 2nd behind three nice horses probably most notably when 2nd behind Rubaud at Taunton, a horse of Paul Nicholls who’s gone on to win a grade two. A reproduction of that form should be good enough here. He’s a lovely horse, very nice natured. He’s done lots of work with me since he’s arrived and I’m hopeful of a good show.
