Uttoxeter, Sunday 30th June

Today we head to Uttoxeter to run Fourofakind in the Handicap Hurdle at 4.10pm.

Happily he has strung two good efforts together in his last two races. The ground went too soft for him last time out at Uttoxeter but he did run with credit. Since then this has been the target, it’s a valuable race for its grade and we’ve trained him specifically for it. He looks exceedingly well, I’m very very happy with his condition.

There’s no mistaking that he is a quirky horse but if he’s on a going day, he’s certainly capable of running a good race in this. I’ve actually put a fluffy nose band on him today. I’ve experimented with the headgear on and off of him but he schooled really nicely with the noseband on so we’re going for that.

As I say he’s in excellent form at home just hopefully he brings that to the track and puts his best foot forwards.
