Today we head to Uttoxeter with two runners, Dargiannini and Sonification.
First up is Sonification in the Novices’ Hurdle at 1.35pm, who has been off an awful long time. He’s a nice horse but will no doubt need the run. He’s been quite keen and fresh at home so I would be very shocked if he’s not quite fresh today having not run for so long. Hopefully he can jump nicely, relax and show some promise but having had such a long time off the track he’s bound to need the run.
Next up is Dargiannini in the Handicap Hurdle at 3.55pm, who’s another one who’s had a long time off. He unfortunately had a little shadow on an X-ray last season so missed all of last season after a nice win at Kempton. He’s been very challenging to get fit this autumn. He goes there trying his best but I’d be shocked if he didn’t need this run.
