Today we head to Taunton to run Prince Nino in the 4.30pm with Paul O’Brien on board.
After his run at Wetherby, Prince Nino has now been given a handicap mark which I hope he can be competitive off. I still think that he is a horse who is quite green and immature and so I think a run in a handicap will do him the world of good.
I think that the ground will suit, I’m optimistic that the distance shouldn’t be a problem so I really hope that he can go and run well. I think this run in a handicap will stand him in good stead as he’s not been good enough to compete in novice company so you’re always up against it, but now he’s in a handicap I hope he will be able to hold his own. As I say the ground is a positive for him the more it dries out and if he runs well and applies himself, I’m optimistic he has an outside each way chance.
