Taunton – Friday 30th December
Fourofakind and Prince Nino
Today we travel to Taunton with two runners, Fourofakind and Prince Nino, both of which I’m looking forward to running.
In the first race the 12.45pm is Fourofakind who we bought privately off the flat from Johnny Murtagh in the summer. He had a decent level of form on the flat and he looks like he’ll appreciate the step up in trip. His schooling has been good from the start, he looks likes he enjoys his jumping and if he takes that to the track in what is a competitive race he should run a nice race. He’ll obviously improve for a run over hurdles but we’re looking forward to running him.
Next is Prince Nino in the 1.15pm. He had one run in a bumper when very green. Good ground will suit him nicely. It looks like a competitive little race but I’m hopeful of a decent run and today will tell us more about whether we can win a novice hurdle or whether we’re more of a handicap type horse. I’m very much looking forward to running both of them.
