Today we head to Stratford to run two horses.
First up is Copshill Lad in the 2.42, a Conditional Jockeys’ Handicap Hurdle and he will be ridden by Alice Stevens.
Copshill Lad is a new horse for me this season who I think will stay this 2m6f trip very well as he looks to me like a galloper. He has had a good preparation for this race, he is fit enough to do himself justice and I would like to think that he can be really competitive in this field.
My second runner is Push To Pass who runs in the 3.17, a Novice Hurdle and will be ridden by Paul O’Brien
Hard to know what he achieved in his two small field juvenile races last year. Off the back of a long lay off he is sure to improve for this run. Hopefully he will run a nice race, show some encouragement and learn plenty. This race will provide more experience for him and hopefully he will give us something to build on.
