Today we head to Southwell to run Dramatic Encore in the Bumper at 1.15pm, with Megan Fox on board. She’s a really lovely filly. She was a bit difficult at the start of the season, the reason that Megan is riding her today is that she did a brilliant job with getting her going. I’ve been pleased with her since and she goes nicely at home. As with all my bumper horses this season she’s ready to start but not by any means wound up, she’ll definitely improve for this run and she’s just going to gain some experience this year before she goes hurdling. But she’s got no weight on her back and I’d like to think she can run a nice race.
