Sandown, Saturday 27th April

Today we head to Sandown for our last 3 runners of this season.

In the first race the Novice’s Championship Final Handicap Hurdle at 1.50pm, we run Court In The Act and Lario.

Court In The Act is a horse who’s been really progressive. He’s only five and still an immature horse but he’s done us really proud this season. We’ve been training him for this since Christmas. The drier the ground the better his chance. My worry is that he’s still quite immature and a race like this is going to be challenging for him but he’s definetely got the ability to compete.

Our other runner in the race is Lario who as I’ve said since he came to us is a work in progress this season. He’s a lovely horse, he just needs to learn to race properly. If he settles then he’s got more than enough ability to run a nice race in this but he just needs to settle and jump nicely. He’s a horse to follow for the future.

In the last race the Handicap Hurdle at 5.20pm, we run Monviel who’s been running consistently all season. This looks a tough race but hopefully he can run well and pick up some place prize money.
