Our very first runner

Our very first runner I send out from Frenchman’s house stables today is Seelotmorebusiness in the 1:47 race at Huntington.

It looks like a typically competitive race for this grade with Poker Master and Moveit Like Minnie two horses looking set to play leading roles.

Whilst it has been a challenge since moving to Upper Lambourn, in terms of getting to know the gallops and what sort of routines to get the horses into, I have been happy with Seelotmorebusiness’ preparation.

He has to overcome a lay off of well over a year but seems fresh and well and looks in good condition for this race. I believe his fitness level is as good as I can get it without a race under his belt.

Paul schooled him on Friday morning and was delighted with him.

Today, more than anything will be a learning process and an excellent indicator as to where I am with the horses but I believe Seelotmorebusiness will be competitive and give a good account of himself.
