Today we head to Newbury to run Salvatore in the Maiden Hurdle at 12.50pm. He’s a lovely horse who we bought eighteen months ago from France and he’s taken some time to get right, but we do like him. The ground without question is softer than ideal today but we’ve been a long time waiting to run him and I’m keen to get a run into him at this stage. Hopefully he’ll settle nicely, all of his schooling at home has been really good and if he copes with the ground he could run a really nice race. I think he’s a horse well worth following in the future.
