Market Rasen, Tuesday 21st March

Today we travel to Market Rasen to run Bella Civena and Hard Frost. I would have preferred the ground a little drier for both but this has been the target for Bella Civena for some time. She’s not an over big filly but she’s very athletic and has jumped really nicely at home. I’ve been really pleased with her and I’d like to think she’ll run a really nice race. Obviously there’s a couple in the race with a bit of experience but I’m not overly worried about that and I hope that she can run really well.

Hard Frost has been largely disappointing over hurdles bar one good second with Rupert on board at Fontwell. He has schooled really well over fences so I’m hoping that brings about a bit of improvement but it will need too.
