Today we head to Lingfield with two runners.
First up is Jasmine Bliss in the Mares Maiden Hurdle at 1.10pm, who was a good bumper mare last season. She improved for her first run last season and I’d expect that to be the same again this year. Her schooling has been good, she’ll like the ground and two miles three should be fine for her. This looks a really hot race, Nicky Henderson’s horse obviously boosts good point to point form, but I’m really looking forward to running Jasmine and whatever she does today she’s a mare to follow for the season.
Our second runner is The Two Harrys in the Novices Hurdle at 2.55. He pulled too hard in a bumper in the spring but I actually think he’s a horse with quite nice ability. This is a good little race today. He’ll want a step up in trip in time but his schoolings been really good and hopefully he can run a nice race.
