Lingfield, Monday 11th December

Today we head to Lingfield with two runners, Nordic Tiger and Joker De Mai
First up is Nordic Tiger in the 2.05pm with Paul O’Brien on board. He’s run well in two Novice Hurdles and he now enters Novice Handicap company. I think that this is a decent little race, but I like my lad. He’s run well twice, jumped very nicely. I’ve put a tongue tie on him which hopefully might just help him late on in his race. He hasn’t made a noise in his races, but he did a piece of work the other day in a tongue tie and he went nicely. A stiff two miles I think will suit; I will end up going up in trip with him but he’s only four and so I don’t want to until the spring.
Next up is Joker De Mai in the Handicap Hurdle at 3.05pm. David Maxwell rides. He ran a lovely race behind Willmount last time out at Newbury, which is obviously very good form. He’s improved massively for that run and I think he has a really big chance of running well in this race.
