Huntingdon, Monday 27th May

Today we head to Huntingdon with two good chances.
First up is Far Sight in the Handicap Hurdle at 3.50pm, who ran a nice come back race at Bangor last month. The ground wasn’t as advertised that day and wouldn’t have been to suit but he ran a really nice race, I was very pleased with how he jumped and travelled. If he’s improved for that run then I’d like to think he’ll run a really nice race here. Good ground I think will suit him well, he seems in good form, I’ve given him a bit of time since that debut for me and I’m confident of a bold show.
Next up is Salvatore in the Handicap Hurdle at 4.55pm. He finally came good at Kempton at the end of April on the better ground. We’ve trained him specifically for this race since then. I’m glad that the rain hasn’t come, good ground I think is the key to him. He seems in really good form. It’s a trappy little race as ever in these 0-100s with a couple well backed but we’re confident of a bold show and think he’ll take all the beating.
