Today we travel to Fakenham to run Madame Luna in the Fillies Junior Hurdle at 2.30pm. Best of luck to her owners Daniel Macauliffe and Anoj Don. This is my first runner for them and I’m delighted to have a horse for them.
Madame Luna is a really lovely mare; she seems pretty straight forward. She’s done a lot of schooling at home. Obviously in these junior races jumping is a big part of it so we’re hoping she jumps nicely. I imagine she might be a bit novicey but she’s done plenty of jumping at home and she seems fit and well. It’s hard to get a gauge on her level of ability with a three year old filly as you’re never galloping them too much but she’s in good shape, I think she’ll try her best and I’d like to think she can run a really nice race.
