Today we head to Chepstow to run Push To Pass in the Handicap Hurdle at 3.25pm.
It’s hard to know what he’s achieved so far, he ran in two junior hurdles last year and ran well but there’s not too much form to come out of those races. I felt that his run at Stratford last month was pretty good after a long lay off. He wouldn’t have learnt that much that day and this is a bit more of a daunting task however. I think his handicap mark is fair and I definitely think he’s capable off it. He’s fit and well, I just wonder whether first time in a handicap it might just all happen a bit quick for him but the step up in trip is a definite positive and a big galloping track like Chepstow will suit well.
