Today we head to Ascot with Scamallach Liath, in the Novices’ Handicap Hurdle at 12.40pm. This has been the plan since his win here last time out. I would have preferred slightly softer ground but he’s in very good form and I expect a big run from him. This looks like a competitive race but I wouldn’t swap him.
